I grew up about 3 miles from Southfork Ranch and remember when it was just a regular house with just a regular family in it. The farm you see at clip 00:28 was about a half mile southeast of Southfork. New additions with mulitiple houses have been built over most of these fields. The nearest longhorn is probably 15 miles from S.F. The road that runs in front of S.F. is planned to be widened to a city concrete 6 lane next year. I hope S.F. can survive at least a little while longer.
